the activities of the youth hostel of Pontivy

Pontivy is a city full of history. Founded by the monk Ivy in the 7th century, it was the head of the Rohan family from 1128 to 2015, when Duke Josselin de Rohan ceded the Château des Rohan to the city. Under Napoleon, it was renamed Napoleonville until 1870. There are many monuments, chapels, canals and lock houses that testify to these two eras. You can walk, canoe or bike to discover Brittany in a different way before resting at the lake of Guerlédan.
