White water weekend in Serre Chevalier
This all-inclusive long weekend allows you to discover the mountain and its waterways by practicing different “white water” activities. So, for a tailor-made stay, come to Serre Chevalier!
For a group stay with a white water theme, Serre Chevalier is the place to go. Indeed, the Briançon valley is one of the spots where you can find rivers with a natural flow and a large number of routes to explore. Thus, three rivers allow you to practice white water activities: the Durance, the Guisane and the Clarée. And the Guisane, 27.7 km long, is your playground. So don’t hesitate, these activities are open to all! In addition, the experience of the professionals in charge of the program ensures a safe practice.
White water at Serre Chevalier

Day 1
Morning: Arrival from 5pm at the youth hostel.
Installation in the rooms.
Then dinner and discovery of the youth hostel and its friendly atmosphere.
Day 2
Departure for the canyoning activity supervised by a qualified instructor. Discovery of the village through different games proposed by the youth hostel.
Dinner and overnight at the youth hostel.
Day 3
Morning: Breakfast at the youth hostel.
Departure for the rafting activity in the wild Guisane. Experience the thrill of white water in Serre Chevalier.
Afternoon: Workshop “Sustainable Development” supervised by our partner “Environment and solidarity” CPIE Haute Durance.
Day 4
Morning: Breakfast at the youth hostel.
Tidying up of the rooms and departure at 10 am. Then departure on foot from the youth hostel along the Guisane valley. Then we head for the magnificent village of Le Casset where a guide from the Ecrins National Park offers activities on the fauna and flora.
