Day 1
Arrival in Cadouin and check-in at the youth hostel.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2
Morning: Breakfast followed by a visit to Lascaux, (UNESCO World Heritage Site) in the new setting of the Centre International d’Art Pariétal. An unusual experience in the heart of prehistory guaranteed!
Packed lunch.
Afternoon: Discovery of Biron castle (listed Historic Monument and one of Aquitaine’s most important sites).
Dinner and overnight at HI Cadouin.
Day 3
Morning: Visit to the Cadouin Cloister (listed as an Historic Monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site). A true masterpiece of Gothic art!
Packed lunch.
Afternoon: Creative workshop in this landmark setting, where grandeur and serenity come together. Students are invited to make the spaces their own and let their imaginations run wild.
Dinner and overnight at the youth hostel.
Day 4
Morning: Breakfast at the youth hostel. Departure for a guided tour of Bourdeilles castle listed Historic Monument.
Packed lunch.
Afternoon: Visit to Brantôme, the “Venice of the Périgord Vert”.
You can choose between a cruise with commentary or a guided tour of the homeland of the famous Pierre de Brantôme, a superb site with its crescent-shaped cliff at the foot of which rises its abbey.
Dinner and overnight at the youth hostel.
Day 5
Morning: Breakfast at the youth hostel.
End of the day, return by bus.
