Perched at an altitude of 1,850 meters, in the heart of the highest resort in the Pyrenees, the Piau-Engaly youth hostel welcomes you to a grandiose setting between peaks, forests and high-altitude lakes. Completely renovated in 2025, it combines modern comfort, tasteful decor and mountain conviviality, for a relaxing and authentic stay. Ideally located at the foot of the slopes and at the gateway to the Pyrenees National Park, the establishment is the ideal starting point for experiencing the mountains all year round: gliding and sensations in winter, hiking, nature and grandiose panoramas in summer.

In winter, its exceptional natural snow cover, varied slopes and freestyle and fun zones provide the perfect playground for all kinds of winter sports. From Toulouse: take the A64 freeway to exit 16 “Lannemezan”, then D929 → D118 via Aragnouet to Piau-Engaly.
From Paris: A62 → A65 → link Pau / Tarbes, then A64, exit at Lannemezan, then follow the same roads via Aragnouet.
