Day 1
Arrival at HI Cancale – Baie du Mont Saint-Michel youth hostel. Installation in the rooms. Free discovery of Cancale.

Dinner and overnight at the youth hostel.

Day 2
Morning : Breakfast at the youth hostel, followed by a 3-hour sea trip to discover marine biodiversity (departure from Port-Mer beach).

Packed lunch provided.

Afternoon: Discovery and study of the sea leash. What is it? Where does it come from? What does it consist of?

Dinner and overnight at the youth hostel.

Day 3
Morning : Breakfast at the youth hostel and departure for Port Picain. Discover the rocky foreshore at low tide (fishing on foot).

Packed lunch provided.

Afternoon: Discovery of Land Art, a creative movement that uses objects found in nature (wood, earth, sand, rocks…) as its framework and materials.

Dinner and overnight at the youth hostel.

Day 4
Morning: Breakfast at the youth hostel and departure for the Pointe du Grouin, to discover the seabirds. How does a bird fly? Which birds live on the coast year-round, what do they feed on, and what are the different fishing techniques used by different species?

Packed lunch provided.

Afternoon: Seascape reading. What’s the difference between a cape and a rocky point? What is a bay and what are the characteristics of the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel?

Dinner and overnight at the youth hostel.

Day 5
Morning: Breakfast at the youth hostel and departure for Port Mer beach for an awareness-raising experience on beach litter pollution. Participation in the beach clean-up.

End of the stay.
